Checheho is a place located at the border of south Gonder and Northern part of Wollo. The hand is situated more at Gonder rather than Wollo part. The place is surrounded by the mountain and has beautiful landscape and fresh air. The inhabitants of this era are happy and joyful. There are many convenient in the era, but the most famous church is Medhanialem the most favored by the people. This church and other convenient have been here since the 5^th century of Christianity. There are many dedicated monks who look and cave and see for some reason or another church has been transferred to nearby Checheho Mender for sometimes. Later when the Church returned back to the origin Mender, people vowed to their God by screaming and shouting hormonally while feeling strong of the holy spirit including the wild animals of the era. This significant event was the most remarkable historical background of this small Village (Mender) called “Checheho” here after the thanks giving action was performed miraculously on the religion of pilgrimages.

Therefore, Checheho is derivate from the sound echo of shouting at the time of religion pilgrim of that century and being carried out as a home of a small place Village (Mender) where quite a number of thousands of people live here. Hence to come to the point where these cultural restaurants gets their name after “Checheho”. The owner of the restaurant and his descendent families were originally comes from the inhabitants of the Checheho territorial integrity.
